• App activity data: jaap count, puja activity, daily streak, selected Ishta Devta, Ratna wallet balance, wallpaper unlocks, reminders, and sleep-room session activity.
• Device and technical data: device identifier used for guest login, app version, basic error/debug information, and network request metadata required to keep the service working.
• Uploaded or selected content: if a feature allows you to set preferences, save wallpapers, or use devotional content, the app may store related selection data.
• Support information: information you send to us by email or through support/contact features.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage your app account or guest session.
• Send and verify OTP for email login.
• Sync your Ratna wallet, jaap progress, puja activity, streaks, reminders, selected Ishta Devta, and other devotional preferences.
• Provide app features such as Nam Jap, Live Mandir, Bhakti Wallpapers, Daily Wisdom, Sleep Room, Bhakti Status, and reminders.
• Improve app stability, security, performance, and user experience.
• Respond to support requests and user inquiries.
• Comply with applicable legal, security, and platform requirements.

3. Permissions Used by the App

The app may request certain device permissions only when needed for app features:

• Internet: to load devotional content, sync account data, verify OTP, and connect to backend APIs.
• Notifications: to send bhakti reminders, sleep-room reminders, or daily activity reminders if enabled by you.
• Storage / media access: to save wallpapers or status images where supported by your Android version.
• Set wallpaper: to set selected devotional wallpaper on your device when you choose that action.
• Vibration: for optional feedback during app interactions such as jaap or puja actions.
• Boot completed: to restore scheduled reminders after device restart, if reminders are enabled.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only in the following cases:

• With service providers required to operate hosting, email OTP, backend APIs, analytics, crash/error handling, or app infrastructure.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the app, or the developer.

5. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, app distribution, media storage, notifications, or app functionality. These services may process limited technical or usage data according to their own privacy policies.

Guest session and app activity records may remain on our server unless deleted or reset according to app/backend functionality.

Please include the email address used in the app and a clear request such as “Delete my Mera Mandir account”. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and device secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

Mera Mandir is a general devotional and spiritual utility app. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in India or other regions depending on hosting and service-provider infrastructure. By using the app, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
